my computer had a near death experience

Sorry for not sharing much Summer ‘67 news lately but my computer had a near death experience. You know, the computer that stores all of my files, for all of my projects, that computer.
Sorry for not sharing much Summer ‘67 news lately but my computer had a near death experience. You know, the computer that stores all of my files, for all of my projects, that computer.
A week and a half ago my computer stopped working and would not let me restart it, it just looked at me. So, I called Apple Care and proceeded to stay on the phone for an hour when the representative finally said “you need to take your computer to an Apple Store,” This would have been a great time to SCREAM a four letter word, but I didn’t. I just said in a defeated voice “an Apple Store?”
When I got there, they said it was the logic board, for PC users the motherboard. I don’t know if the store had a defibrillator but I’m sure my heart stopped. And before I could fall to the floor the Apple Genius said “but we’ll replace it for free.” I said “free” she said “yes, free” I said “you mean…” she replied “yes, at no cost to you.” Now, if push came to shove, I would have bought another computer, but I didn’t want to, and happily 5 days later my computer is back. Thank God for great customer service and a Time Machine backup.
